I’m frustrated by the lack of real progress on some of our region’s most urgent challenges—affordability, public safety, and housing—and by how little transparency there is around how public dollars are spent. 

Too often, well-meaning plans are put forward without clear implementation, measurable outcomes, or accountability to the public.

It’s time to move beyond the status quo and advance solutions that are grounded in collaboration and proven results. That means making tough decisions, being honest about what’s working - and what’s not - and focusing on strategies that deliver for the people of South King County.

Our community deserves more than good intentions. We need regional solutions that are effective, accountable, and built to last.

I’m committed to showing up, listening, and delivering real results. 

We need practical, regional solutions to the challenges we face, and that means making some tough decisions.

We must ensure accountability while addressing opportunity gaps, racial and financial inequities, and the behavioral health crisis. It’s time to reassess how we approach these issues, creating communities that are safe and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

I’ll bring my experience as a complex problem solver, a collaborative leader, and a champion for equitable access to ensure our county prioritizes community safety, supports those in need, and holds itself accountable.

Together, we can challenge the status quo and make King County a place where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
